Up until 2003 I worked for a variety of fencing and landscape contractors and always felt I could give a service of greater quality and efficiency if I could organise my own jobs from pricing to ordering materials and carrying out the work.
So in 2003 I started my business after I spotted a gap in the market for making high quality fencing in the area. I started by carrying out small domestic garden fences and by 2004 I found people where asking for larger lengths of fencing which led me to purchase a compact tractor and post driver, this machine enabled me carry out the residential garden projects but also gave me the opportunity to move into the agricultural and equestrian market carrying out post and rail and stock proof fencing.
By 2005 I was expanding the business further and after taking on additional staff I started to expand into planting, creating hedges, tree barriers and other large scale planting projects which fitted in well along side the fencing. The hedge planting service has provided a vital role in keeping the business working 12 months of the year. As the business become busier we have adapted our methods to become more efficient and make sure we still provide a friendly, professional & high quality service at a competitive price!
As we moved into 2011 the decision was made to purchase a larger machine to carry out the fencing work in the agricultural and equestrian sector. This would not only improve the speed of the work but also with budgets being a little tighter for customers than in previous years it has enabled me to keep running costs to a minimum but still passing the saving to the customer. I am now able to carry out every kind of fencing and planting project at efficient price, whether you want a standard project or would like a taylor made package to suit your budget.
